Incoming share rules

Receiving files from others has become more powerful. Learn how to set up incoming shares to be visible to others in your company.

Cargosnap makes it easy to share files with others. Just fill in an e-mail address and the share is out.

​But what if you are on the receiving end of such shares?


Firstly, it is easy to see what is coming in, click "Sharing" on the menu, and you will see all the list of files that have been shared with you:

 

 

 

However, there are situations where colleagues working in a team need to see the work from a subcontractor. Well, users with an Admin role (such as SuperAdmin or LicenseAdmin) can make these shares available to your team (anyone listed in the same 'Team' on the platform, or even all registered users in your company) by setting it on General, within the Company Settings.

 

 

 

The rules for Incoming shares include:

  • By default, just making the file available to the e-mail recipient of said share;

  • Make it available to all users listed in the same team as the e-mail recipient;

  • Or to all users registered to your company's account.
