Create a file from the platform

Most users let Cargosnap automatically create files. But there are times you may want to manually create a file. Let's see how that's done.

Firstly, the ability to create files is enabled for all accounts by default, but if you are an Admin and prefer no manual file creation, you may disable and enable this through the Company settings and "Permissions".

 

 

1. With this option enabled, go to the "Files" section in the Platform and click the button "✚ Create new file":

 

2. Now, fill in the Reference you wish to use for your file:

 

3. And you're done! We will take you to the new file, where you can start to add snaps, documents, forms, and fields.

Multiple file creation

If you need to create multiple files in one go, you may do so, using the following format:

"reference#XX-YY" where XX is the starting number and YY is the closing number. Note: you can create up to 20 files in one action.

Example: If you enter "ABCD#10-13" and then "Create", it will create these 4 files: ABCD10, ABCD11, ABCD12, ABCD13
